Outstandingly Generous Response to Our Fundraiser

The truly magnificent response to our Fundraiser in regard to Millstreet Museum and Millstreet Community Website has been quite phenomenal.  Since we launched the fundraising project on Thursday, 6th Nov. 2025 our GoFundMe platform has already reached €6,860.00 (minus GoFundMe expenses later) plus contributions to our Bank of Ireland Account and also by hand.   This now means that not only are our expenses for the coming year fully covered but we are now entering the uplifting situation of beginning to ensure coverage for future years.   Our fundraising project will continue until the end of November 2025 when we shall be able to assess the final result and able to determine how many years will pass before any future fundraising will be necessary.   The following is an update relating to  our fundraising project.   Added to the overall GoFundMe account of €6,860.00 (minus GoFundMe expenses later) here are the extra generous contributions receivedAnonymous by hand €100.00;  Anonymous by hand €50.00;  Anonymous by post €50.00; From Geraldine and Matt €20.00; From Dan, Phil & Marie Twomey €100.00;  From Declan Cotter €50.00;  From Cork Music Station (William, Ita & John Fitzgerald) €200.00;  Anonymous to our Bank of Ireland account €50.00Millstreet Juvenile GAA Club to our Bank of Ireland account €200.00  A million thanks for such outstanding support ensuring very real security for our two community services….Millstreet Community Website and Millstreet Museum.  We share four images from our Museum Pictorial Archives which were presented by the late Jerry Lehane from the photography of the late Tadhg O’Driscoll.  Tap on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)
