Marian O’Riordan, Claramore, Millstreet who died on 31st July 2024.
As we lovingly remember our Mother Marian on her first anniversary, we her family wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.
We were extremely overwhelmed by the support we got during this sad occasion for our family.
We would like to thank all who sympathised, telephoned, texted, sent Mass cards, perpetual enrolments, floral tributes, the many touching words of condolences on rip.ie, all those who attended Marian’s funeral and those who joined the Mass on line.
We offer a heartfelt thanks to many friends, neighbours and well wishers that attended our home who brought food and refreshments – this was very much appreciated.
Our sincere thanks to Canon John Fitzgerald for celebrating a beautiful Mass and burial ceremony. We are forever grateful to Canon John for his support and the many calls he made to visit Marian down through the years.
Thanks to Sharon and Julie for all your wonderful support in organising the Funeral Mass.
Our sincere gratitude to Tarrant’s Funeral Directors, to Davy, Cora, Declan, Séamus and Ryan. We sincerely thank you for your kindness, support and professionalism.
Thanks to Siobhán for the beautiful music and singing which added so much to the ceremony.

Thanks to all the staff at Millstreet Medical Centre for providing such wonderful care for Marian.
Thanks to all the Public Health and Community Nurses past and present for all the help you provided over the years.

A special thank you to all the hard working Home Carers for all your help, great care and kindness shown to Marian over the years.
Our sincere gratitude of thanks to all our friends and neighbours who visited Marian and sat with her in our home. She thoroughly enjoyed the company.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledge as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Marian’s Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Friday 1st August at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church Millstreet.
