My Grandfather was Dennis Ford(e) brother of Ed who lived next door to the Post Office in Millstreet. Ed was the only sibling to remain in Cork. The other siblings Joan, Patrick and Daniel went to America. I would like to find out my Great Grandfather and Great grandmother information.
Im a Forde from Cork and my grandad was Bartholemew Forde born in 1900 . My great grandad in the 1800s had Forde’s farm in millstreet, Cork. I think my great granny was also millstreet, perhaps O’ Riordan as found paperwork registering a car for a James O Riordan ballinatoura? Millstreet. After Dad passed we found out he had a brother he never knew, before his mum left Millstreet to move to Cork and marry his Dad….I wonder are we linked and if you know more of this story ;-0 A.
