On Saturday, 11th September 2021 a wonderful group of enthusiastic Hill Walkers assembled in the West End Car Park in Millstreet before embarking on the Clara Loop which involves climbing Clara Mountain. There was a very special reason for this outdoor event. People from many areas including Meath, Kildare, Scartaglin, Rathmore and many more locations had come together in memory of the late Michael Murphy, Knocknaloman, Rathmore who went to his Eternal Reward on 16th April 2020. R.I.P.. On return from this Hill Climbing Event many of the participants were photographed at the West End Car Park. Michael’s daughter, Siobhán kindly shared a brief Interview with us which may be heard on “Radio Treasures” on www.corkmusicstation.com on this Tuesday at 10pm.
