On ‘Where the road takes me’ this week, John Greene concludes the story of Joe Mac. The former drummer, singer and comedian is the only surviving member of the Dixies Showband following the death of Seán Lucey on July 28th last.
Now eighty five years of age and sixty seven years in show business, it hasn’t been all laughs.
In 1981, tragedy strikes the family when Joe and Anne’s son Aidan and his wife Linda are killed in a road collision.
