Pope Francis has established a World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, which will take place for the first time on this Sunday 25 July on the theme ‘I am with you always’ (Mt 28:20). He choose this Sunday in July as it is the Sunday nearest to the Feast Day of Ss Joachim and Anne, the parents of our Lady. Today we ask St. Joachim & Anne to protect all the grandparents and the elderly of our Parish.

There is a house available in the Canon O’Donovan Centre (Millstreet Day Centre) to rent from mid-August.
