Eoin Moynihan (Ballydaly) and Charlie Drake (Derinagree) are currently taking part in group N of WRC Australia (3rd to 5th September). The two have been in Australia for a few years, and have started rallying recently, under Charlie’s own motorsport team Celtic Motorsport. They are driving a Subaru Impreza WRX N4 for this race.

Eoin comes from a rallying family of course, with John owning and running his rallying shop on the West End, and Dan was involved in rallying for some time also, while Charlie is new enough to driving, having got the bug after taking lessons in Australia. He said “It was only natural that I would get drawn in by the ambiance of the sport from an early age. I took every opportunity to travel to different rallies and to help out. Following my move to Australia in 2005, I met up with Charlie again and jumped at the chance to pursue our mutual interest in rallying”.
