Dear Parishioners,

The month of June would traditionally been a month when we would celebrate The Feast of Corpus Christi and our Cemetery Masses, however due to current restrictions and the safety of everyone we are unable to hold these ceremonies.

During our weekend Masses, I will offer a special prayer for the intentions of our Parish and ask for continued protection during these difficult and challenging times.

This week we also remember the students who are commencing their exams.  We pray that they will be given the strength and guidance as they decide their future paths…………… Fr. Fitzgerald

                        PRAYER BEFORE EXAMS

O Loving Father, I pray that my mind be rested,

My body energised, and my spirit inspired for the exam I must write.

Give me peace and assurance so that I might do my best.

May God’s Spirit of Wisdom enlighten me and guide me.

Lord Jesus, be by my side as I write this exam. Amen.

LOUGH DERG 2021:  Lough Derg regrets that it will not be possible in 2021 to reopen Station Island for the Traditional Three Day Pilgrimage or even for the Autumn programme of Day Retreats. Lough Derg will again offer the opportunity to “Do Lough Derg from wherever you are” on 3rd-5th July. The outdoor Pilgrimage on the Lough Shore Pilgrim Path will also be available as the summer goes on. Further information from Lough Derg office (071) 9861518 or www.loughderg.org
