Sports People Supreme Participating in III ITFU Taekwondo Open World Championships in Sardinia
Over 30 Irish competitors will strike out from Ireland to Sardinia this week to complete in the III ITFU Taekwondo Open World Championships. Millstreet will be well represented with Connie Vaughan and Shannon Murphy; Joshua O’Sullivan, Ballydaly; Rachel Gaffney, Dooneen; Michael Thornton, Drishanebeg; Brother and Sister duo, Sadhb O’Connor & Emmet O’Connor, Millstreet; Mother & Daughter duo Aoife & Carsíosa Foley, Rathcoole. It has been a tough training regime under Grand Master Don Dalton and fantastic Achievement for all of them to get this far. Go n-éirí an bóthar libh go léir.
