  • Thanks to everyone who contributed to our recent Church gate collection in Knocknagree.
  • Best of luck to our adult racers who are racing in Nenagh Co. Tipperary this weekend.
  • Hard luck to Denis O Connor who along with his Munster teammates failed to make the starting line of the St Patrick’s Day Race in Cardiff last weekend owing to a Ferry mechanical!

  • Well done to all our Juveniles who took part in the Billy Nolan TT in Tralee on St Patrick’s Day last. SLCC had 9 Juveniles in total participating. Congratulations to Ben Murphy, Sean Hurley, Darragh Dennehy and Kate Murphy who brought home prizes.
  • Congrats to Dan Murphy who came second in Tournafulla (Caislean Nua Classic Race) A4 Race last Saturday and is now regraded to A3 for the Season.
  • Date for your diary – Tour of Sliabh Luachra 30th June … 1 week before the Ring of Kerry – ideal final spin!
  • If you would like a Family Fun Route as part of the Tour of Sliabh Luachra on 30th June, please vote on our Facebook page as we are looking for your opinion.
  • If your ambition this year is to cycle the Ring of Beara, Ring of Kerry or simply want to take up cycling to get fit-Sliabh Luachra Cycling club is currently undertaking a couch to Ring of Kerry programme for all levels of cycling abilities. The programme includes a number of weeks of spinning and also bike skills sessions before hitting the road.

  • For more experienced cyclists the weekly club spin is on every Sunday leaving Rathmore at 9 am with routes and pacing for varying levels.
