Millstreet Church: New schedule for week-day Masses:

Mass on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 10.00a.m. unless there is a funeral.

Mass on Friday (20th) for Flor McAuliffe, Murphy’s Terrace at 7.30p.m.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Wednesday from 10.30a.m. to 8.30p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Millstreet.  Feel free to drop in and pray in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament at any time that suits you.

DIOCESAN COLLECTION NEXT WEEKEND for Pastoral & Retreat Centres.  The John Paul II Pastoral Centre in Killarney acts as a focal point for the catechetical and faith education programmes of the diocese while the Ardfert Retreat Centre provides the opportunity to take time apart and reflect on God’s call to all the people of our diocese in a peaceful and prayerful environment. Your support for this collection is appreciated.

v      CLARA NEWS:  Notes for the Clara News are due to the Editor by Friday 20th August.

v      FAREWELL NIGHT FOR FR. GUNN: Meeting on Tuesday night (17th) in Cullen Community Centre at 8.00p.m. to organise Fr. David’s farewell.

v      MILLSTREET GRAMOPHONE CIRCLE:  This month’s presentation will take place on next Friday night (20th) at 8.15p.m. in the Canon O’Donovan Centre.  This month’s guest presenter is Bernard O’Donoghue, Cullen & Oxford.  All are very welcome.

v      FR. CON KIELY ECUADOR FUND:  Proceeds of Church Gate Collection along with other donations will be presented to Fr. Con in Ballydaly Hall on Friday (20th). Beginning 9.00p.m. Everybody welcome.

v      MILLSTREET LIBRARY:  A free interactive workshop on Tuesday 24th August between 3.00 & 4.00p.m.  Meet “Molly” the dog and learn how to care for your own dog/puppy.  All are welcome.

v      IRD DUHALLOW:  An information night entitled “Transition from Secondary to Third Level” will take place on Wednesday 15th September in the James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket at 7.30p.m.  To book a place please contact Helen O’Sullivan on (029) 60633.

v      TAX RELIEF FORMS: We thank those who have returned completed forms to the Parish Office and we are asking the remainder to please return the CHY2 Certificate (for PAYE workers) or the Reply Form (for Self-employed) as soon as possible.
