The death has occurred on Tuesday 1st May 2018 of Judy Buckley (née Pomeroy), Mount Leader, Millstreet. Peacefully in the presence of her family, beloved wife of the late Denis and sister of the late Dick Pomeroy. Sadly missed by her loving children Denis, Eleanor, Nicholas and Claire, her grandchildren Denis, Alex, Nicholas, Maggie and Clara. Deeply regretted by her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing in St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet on Wednesday from 6pm followed by Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon and burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. Family flowers only please. Donations to St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Millstreet. May she rest in peace. [1]
So sad to just have learnt of the death of Judy Buckley (nee Pomeroy) of Mount Leader. Judy was the last surviving cousin of my mother Johanna O’Connor (nee Murphy) formerly of 3 West End and late of Lurgan County Armagh. Judy and my mother were not only cousins but lifelong friends and following my mother’s death in 1996 my sister Patricia and I enjoyed keeping in touch with Judy in the years since. Our sincere condolences to all Judy’s family and also Ursula and Dick’s family.
