All Ireland Scoraíocht na nÓg Champions 2009

MLLSTREET Ceolthas Ceolteoirí Eireann received the perfect 30th Anniversary plaudits on capturing outright honours in the All Ireland Junior Scóraíocht hosted in conjunction with the Fleadh Nua in Ennis last Saturday. (read below for a full description).

MLLSTREET Ceolthas Ceolteoirí Eireann received the perfect 30th Anniversary plaudits on capturing outright honours in the All Ireland Junior Scóraíocht hosted in conjunction with the Fleadh Nua in Ennis last Saturday.

Brillant talent took to the stage with gusto in a spectacular thirty minute presentation in music, song and dance presentation from a thirty one member cast.

The Millstreet presentation titled “Ship of Hope, Shjp of Tears” was developed from a Scór entry that reached the All Ireland Scór na nOg final last February. That production was projected into a show alive to the sound of music, song, story and dance to record outright honours from runners up Templeglantine from Limerick.

Cast members included Kelly and Megan Murphy, Sarah and Laura Dennehy, Jayme, Conor, Donal and James Linehan, Darren and Orla Kiely, Bridelle, Billy and James Cronin, Eva and Allanna Barry, Stefan Healy, Ebony Costolloe, Leanne Smith, Maura Buckley, Oisin Murphy, Jessica Dunne, Leanne Murphy, Joanne O’Riordan, Neidín Spillane, Emma Hickey, Muireann Buckley, Diarmuid Fraser, Cian Dennehy, Patrick O’Callaghan, Conor Twomey and Chloe Buicke.
