In tonight’s Show we chat about Noel Fehily, Retired Jockey Supreme.  We send special greetings to our Dutch Friends – Sterre, Nina and Hidde who are presently in Dublin.   We feature a truly special Irish Recording from 2003 which had been coordinated by Roibeard Ó Cathasaigh.  We listen to some rare and beautiful recordings – all in the hope that we still have electricity as we still experience Storm Barra!

The Fehily Family of Castletownkenneigh in beautiful West Cork appearing on “The Southern Star” in 2019 as Noel, son of Joan and Michael Fehily was being honoured for his hugely impressive successes as a Champion Jockey. Joan and Michael (Noel’s Parents) with Tim Foley visited us at Millstreet Museum in August 2021.

Transport in past decades at Minor Row, Millstreet. Here we view the wonderful Dan Hallissey returning home following his visit to Tom Radley’s Forge for a new set of shoes for his loyal donkey.  No need to stop for petrol!
