“Lunchtime Favourites” on CMS 10th Oct. 2021 – 12.30 to 2.00pm

Sacrament of Confirmation in Millstreet on Friday, 8th Oct. 2021.

Friday, 8th Oct. 2021 marked the final day we witnessed an open front door at Millstreet’s Branch of the Bank of Ireland – It first opened as The National Bank in 1878 at The Square, Millstreet.

A very historic Millstreet Poster kindly shared by Barry Linehan of Mallow (Author and Historian) having seen the very interesting Poster in a current exhibition in Cork.

Presenting to Millstreet Museum a rare copy of the “Cork Examiner” which was printed on a Sunday (never happened before this or since) to mark the exact date of the 150th Anniversary of the very first copy of the newspaper in 1841.
