This week on ‘Where the road takes me’, John Greene meets the third Cork City Northsider in the series ‘The tale of three Norries’.
Son of the late Singing Fireman John O’Shea, Tony O’Shea talks about his father, growing up on the Northside and being a true and proud Norrie, choosing a guitar instead of a hurley at the North Mon and his own career as a Cork City Fireman, before retiring at the age of 54.
We also hear songs from his CD ‘My Lovely Rose and You’, the title track dedicated to his late mother.
