Where The Road Takes Me – Sunday 6th June

Once Flower Lodge, home to Cork Hibernians, Páirc Uí Rinn is now one of the GAA’s strongholds in Cork and named after one of the greatest hurlers of all time.

Christy Ring was a very close friend of the late Paddy Martin, the Taoiseach’s father and on this week’s edition of ‘Where the road takes me’, Mícheál Martin joins John Greene in the Stadium to talk about his life and times.

You’ll find the conversation moving swiftly from one subject to another.

Growing up in Turner’s Cross, soccer, hurling, dancing, the Gaeltacht, his international boxer father, becoming leader of his party and later Taoiseach, taking on the powerful tobacco industry and of course Covid-19 are some of the many subjects up for discussion.

The life and times of a Taoiseach – this Sunday evening on “Where the road takes me” on C103 at 7.
