The death has occurred of Denis (D.J.) McCarthy, Ballyspillane, Killarney, Co. Kerry and Pound Hill, Millstreet, Co. Cork.
Formerly of Pound Hill, Millstreet. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and in the company of his loving wife Breda. Very sadly missed and dearly loved by his family, sisters Maureen Meade (Ballincollig) and Theresa Lee (Dublin), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Denis and his sister Philomena.

In accordance with Government and HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health, a private funeral will take place for Denis (DJ) Mc Carthy in St Mary’s Cathedral. Denis’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on churchservices.tv/killarneycathedral on Monday at 12 noon, followed by cremation in the Island Crematorium, Cork.
