Dromtariffe Parish Weekly Newsletter

My dear friends

It seams ages since we met & I and you miss the gatherings of the community for Mass and other sacraments.  Thank God people ae staying safe and please God we will return to more normal times when things improve.  We are delighted that teachers and children are back in school and may the Lord watch over them.

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday.  I will bless palm and have it available at both churches if you would like to pick up some as usual.  If you can pick up a Trócaire box too it would be great.

Holy Week lies ahead and unfortunately there is no church ceremony open to public.  The schedule for R.T.E. for each of the days is included in this newsletter.  Of course, all the local churches who have streaming ability will have their online ceremonies for each of these days. These are the most sacred days of our religion and its important to keep in touch through the media.  I will be celebrating privately for our parish.

Thanks to all who have thought to pay their dues and parish contributions as we are unable to distribute envelopes and the bills still come in.  May God reward your generosity in these strange times.

Happy & healthy Easter to all

Fr Tom
