Canon Dan Kiely

Rev. Canon Daniel J. Kiely, St. Bernadine’s Church, Buckingham (the Diocese of Northampton) and formerly of Ballydaly, Millstreet, Co. Cork, passed away peacefully on January 24th, 2021, in the loving care of the staff at St. Joseph’s, Bon Secours Care Village, Cork.

Deeply regretted by his loving siblings, Sr. Margaret, Timmy, Joan (Dineen), Catherine (Hallissey) and Con, his sisters in-law Josephine and Cecilia, forever missed by his nieces and nephews, his grand-nieces and grand-nephews and his wide circle of dear friends in Ireland & England. [rip]

Fr. Dan’s Funeral Mass takes place on, today, Tuesday, January the 26th at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s church, Millstreet. Respectfully, and in accordance with current restrictions, Fr. Dan’s Funeral Mass and burial will remain strictly private for his immediate family. Messages of condolence can be left for the family on the RIP Condolence Page. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on churchservices.tv/millstreet

Northampton Diocese: Our diocese is very sorry to hear of the passing of Canon Dan Kiely yesterday afternoon. He died after a long illness in Ireland. His funeral will take place tomorrow at St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet, Co. Cork at 12 noon.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
