FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CEREMONIES 2020

As previously announced the First Holy Communion Ceremonies for Millstreet National Schools will take place on Saturday 19th September at the following times: Scoil Mhuire Boys N.S. at 10.00 a.m. and Presentation Girls N.S. at 12.30 p.m.

However due to the current restrictions put in place by NPHET and our Government the numbers able to attend the ceremony are restricted and each family with a child for First Holy Communion have been informed of the number able to attend.

As our First Holy Communion children traditionally attend the 11.30a.m. Mass on the day after receiving First Communion I would encourage our congregation who regularly attend 11.30a.m. Sunday Mass to contact our Parish Office and arrange to attend an alternative weekend Mass. I appreciate your continued co-operation and understanding during these challenging times but the safety of everyone attending our Masses and the compliance with guidelines is of the utmost importance.

 MASS BOOKINGS FOR 2021:

The diary for the bookings of Masses for next year will open on

Tuesday 8th September

The decision has been taken to have multi-intentional Masses where

it is necessary to do so.

I want to thank families who have included their deceased

family members in one Mass and would encourage

the continuation of this in the future.
