“Radio Treasures” Tonight Remembers Big Tom, Brian Dennehy & Fr. Liam

On Cork Music Station tonight  (Tuesday, 21st April 2020) from 9.30 to 11.00pm we have a very special programme including a live interview at 10pm with Mayo’s Michael Commins of Midwest Radio on the second anniversary of the late Big Tom McBride and his wife Rose.   We also recall the late Hollywood Actor supreme – Brian Dennehy and his visit to Millstreet in 1992.   We remember Fr. Liam Comer and hear an uplifting story from Geraldine Dennehy about the day Fr. Liam administered the Sacrament of Confirmation in Millstreet in 2013.   We share these images to illustrate those to whom we shall be making  reference in our programme tonight.   And of course, we shall also be having our weekly blend of music, musing and songs.  And we also hear a new song by Davy Ryan (at 9.45pm) “Our Heroes Who Set Us Free” giving such deserving praise to All Frontline Workers during COVID-19.  Most welcome All to join us for tonight’s “Radio Treasures”.  Happy listening!  (S.R.)   To contact the programme:  Email corkmusicstation @gmail.com or text 086 825 0074 .
