  1. My dear Aunt Joan – always my most important visit when I got to Ireland. The last of her generation and the one that all my cousins and I held dear. I’m glad that my son got to visit her on our trip last year. I hope we can all be true to the love and values she showed to all of us.

    1. Thank you Michael. Nana loved yer visits to Ireland and spending time with ye. We all miss her so much. Coolinarne will not be the same without her.We will treasure the memories of what a special person she was.

  2. Our deepest sympathy to the family, especially Mary, of the late Joan Cronin RIP.

My dear brother Christy had the greatest respect for her and said she was ‘The Shining Star’ in the heavens. I’ve no doubt they are both sitting together discussing the old world they both left behind.

May they both now rest in peace.

    1. Joan was one of my first cousins. Her mother, Julie Murphy Noonan, was my 3rd great grand-aunt. I wish I could go to Millstreet and meet all of my surviving family in Coolinarne.

  3. RIP Joan…she was one of my first cousins who I wish I had met when I was in Ireland a couple of years ago. I wanted to go meet my family in Millstreet but I never had the chance.
