We thank Annabelle O’Sullivan for sharing this uplifting and very interesting article with us. Click on the image to enlarge. (S.R.)
Neil is nephew of the late Con O’Sullivan of Lyreaoune, Cullen and his truly important role in this year’s New York and Staten Island St. Patrick’s Day Parades is highly prestigious.
His father, Tim O’Sullivan (Corney) came from Lyreaoune, Cullen, and his mother, Katherine Murphy’s  people came from Knocknashinnagh , Cullen.   And, in addition, both father and son shared the same very special honour.   We extend sincere congratulations on such a tremendous honour.

  1. Neil’s grandmother, Hannah Buckley Murphy, was my mother’s best friend here in New York. His grandfather, Dan Murphy, introduced my parents – Margaret Buckley, Knocknagree and Bart Sheehy, Ballyduff, Co. Kerry. Congratulations to Neil!
