The death has occurred of Martin Lawlor, of Manchester and Tralee, Claramore, Millstreet, Cork. Passed away unexpectedly, beloved husband of Helen (neé Murphy, West End, Millstreet), wonderful father of Jennifer, Samuel and Rebecca, much loved son of Noreen and Jerry, loving brother of John, Diarmuid and Susan, brother in law of Maria and Marguerite, mother in law Teresa (Corcoran, West End), sister in law Sheila, all his many aunts and uncles, his very valued work colleagues in Forensic and Rehabilitation Psychiatry and ‘State of Mind Ireland’, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Lying in repose at his residence at Claramore, Millstreet on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Reception into St Patrick’s Church Millstreet on Tuesday for 12 noon Mass and burial afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. [rip]

We would like to pay our sincere respects and offer our deepest sympathy to Dr Martin Lawlor’s Family, Friends and Colleagues.
This tragic news comes as a great shock to all of us here who worked with Martin over the years.
This is a great loss for not only his friends, family and colleagues, but also for Mental Health Services and the many patients he cared for throughout his career.
He was well liked and respected, and he was a very kind, caring and supportive man.
Words cannot begin to express the great sorrow that has been felt throughout the hospital and the Yorkshire and Humber community.
He will be truly missed.
So very sad and such a lovely man, I really enjoyed working with him. My thoughts are with his family.
