“Where the Road Take Me” This Sunday on C103 at 7pm

We thank Presenter, John Greene for advance information on this evening’s programme.  (S.R.)

This Sunday evening on Where the road takes me,  John Greene goes to meet a man with stories to tell.  Steven Nolan, originally from Ballinspittle, has
recently retired after forty years working for the Catterpillar Company on
the Oil Sands of Fort McMurray in Alberta Canada.  However, Steven’s
lifetime stories do not end there…….

Being a fan of country music and boxing, Steven has met Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard.

*         He has met Mohammed Ali, Lennox Lewis and Marvin Haggler, and
spent an evening in the company of Panamanian boxer Roberto Duran, who
became world champion in four different weights.

*         He has crossed Alaska on a motorbike with his brother, and worked
as a mechanic 750 feet underground in the copper mines of Zambia.

*         And……    He has attended the Brazilian, Japanese, American and
British Grand Prix’s.

Hear his stories on Where the road takes me – this Sunday evening at 7 – on
C103.
