“Radio Treasures” on Cork Music Station at 9:30 to 11:00 Tonight

Our 10pm feature tonight on “Radio Treasures” on Cork Music Station  (Tues. 11th Sept. 2018) recalls Michael Linehan’s 70th Birthday which took place in Scartaglin on last Saturday night. We also hear the superb pipe music as played by Con Houlihan of Cullen Pipe Band as he piped Michael into the three Bars in Scartaglin – O’Connor’s, Lyons’s and Fleming’s. We reflect on the very successful Autumn Vintage Car Run of last Sunday. We chat about our 1940s  historic photos of Millstreet Boys’ Secondary School. And we travel to Gneeves Wind Farm in the company of Patrick W. O’Leary, Kentucky, USA and Brendan Murphy, Millstreet.

And there’s more…lots more! Do join us from 9:30 to 11:00pm (Irish Time). Many have enquired if we have podcasts of our weekly 10pm features so that they could listen to them if the live broadcast was missed. As yet we do not have such an audio archive but we are hoping to develop this facility in the not-too-distant future as very kind support for this has become available about which we shall give more details later. For now happy listening to our live broadcast this evening! Below we share images from the topics included in our programme. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)
