Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday & Wednesday from 10.30a.m. to 10.30p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Millstreet. Requests for Prayer & Special Intentions – A box & slips of papers for these intentions can be found at the back of the Church. Each Tuesday & Wednesday the box will be placed on the altar for Mass and then placed in the Adoration Chapel so that people attending can pray for them

DIOCESE OF KERRY: The season of Creation begins on this Sunday and this year’s action focus in the diocese is “Be Part of the Solution to Plastic Pollution: See, Judge, Act!” The diocese will host an evening providing inspiration, hope & action to protect our Common Home. Screening of the documentary Plastic in Paradise by Derrynane-based Vincent Hyland, followed by a Voice Ireland recycling workshop will be held on Wednesday 19th September at 8.00p.m. in John Paul II Pastoral Centre, Killarney. Free event. Everyone welcome.

  • MILLSTREET SET DANCERS AGM in Parish Centre on Tuesday 4th September at 8.30p.m.

  • MILLSTREET ADULT LEARNING CENTRE will hold an Open day on Thursday next 6th September from 10.30 – 1.30p.m. in the Adult learning Centre, Main Street. Tutors will be on site to take registrations and give details of courses and starting dates. If you cannot attend registration but would like to attend classes contact Marie (086) 7707301 on Monday & Thursdays only. All classes are free to over 18’s on a Social Welfare Benefit.

  • SET DANCING will resume in Ballydaly Hall on Wednesday 12th September at 8.30p.m. – 10.00p.m. All welcome.

  • COFFEE EVENING in aid of Marymount hospice will be held in Ballydaly hall on Friday evening 14th September between 8.00 & 10.00p.m. Your support is appreciated.

  • MILLSTREET TWINNING: 12 friends from Pommerite Le Vicomto will join us in Millstreet from 15th-22nd September. Fare well function in Wallis Arms on Friday 21st at 7.30p.m. Tickets from Una (087) 7949691, Pat (087) 9486253 or Anne (087) 9509256. All welcome.

  • CULLEN PIPE BAND would like to thank everybody for their generous support at the recent Church gate collection.

  • AUBANE SET DANCING recommences on Monday 17th September at Aubane Community Centre.

  • FAMILY & LIFE will hold a meeting entitled “The Way forward for Ireland’s Pro-life movement” in Silver Springs Hotel, Tivoli, Cork on Thursday 6th September at 7.30p.m.

  • LEE VALLEY SPEAKERS will hold an open meeting on Tuesday 18th September at 8. 00p.m in The Castle Hotel, Macroom. A fun evening in a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to speak.
