Eily’s Report – 3rd July

Dia is Mhuire díobh go léir a Chairde and welcome to my Report.

The heatwave continues and we are counting our blessings to be on par with all the exotic hot spots around the world, without having to book  a ticket. The lovely sunshine never fails to draw us out on to the great out of doors. The  sun is there for our sunlovers and shade for those who like to take a little cover. The settled forecast has taken the panic out of work on the land and other outdoor work.

Recipes with the good of our health were there on the day and also a stand advertising the new compostable drinkers, straws, tablewear etc, which are made of vegetable matter. Please respond to their urgent call to cut out waste in all its forms.
