Eily’s Report – 8th May

Dia is Mhuire díobh go léir a Chairde and welcome to my weekly report.

The lovely sunny weather at the bank holiday weekend did wonders for everyone. Following all the wet months, people came out and made the most of the three warm days, in whatever way they liked. The Ed Sheeran mighty concert drew thousands of people of all ages, others went to the beach, some to car rallying, some to see the huge cruise liner in Cobh. While others spent their time in the garden planting flowers to brighten  things up the months ahead. And through it all was the joy in people’s faces, as the soaked up the sun.
