This week on ‘Where the road takes me’, we meet Teddy Hayes from
Rosscarbery, the recent recipient of an award for his constant fundraising
down through the years.
After being initially given the ‘all-clear’, Teddy was later informed that
Kidney cancer had spread to his lungs. Teddy has now organised a
fund-raiser for Arc House in Bantry – this particular fund-raiser is

May has arrived, and finally, maybe finally, we may have left the winter behind us. In any case this bank holiday weekend is warm and sunny and to be enjoyed. Pat Menz on guitar plays This Land is Your Land 1. Pat is a great grandson of Ellen Donoghue born in Cloghoulabeg, Millstreet on 3rd January 1871 to John Donoghue (a farmer) and Johanna Riordan 2. He lives in Toowoomba, about 100km west of Brisbane in Australia.
