This morning (Thurs. 8th March 2018) at Millstreet Parish Centre three members of Cork Music Station presented a financial gesture (the result of a Draw during the recent CMS Awards Event at The Pub in Carriganima) to members of ROCS (Reach Out Cancer Support) to aid the praiseworthy work being carried out. We also arranged to interview Michelle O’Keeffe who is present Chairperson of ROCS. It was Michelle and Mairéad Daly (standing on extreme right) who originally established ROCS. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.) We thank Michael and Breeda Piggott for taking the two images.
The Loan is available to new & current members, it’s very straight forward, no meetings/ interviews necessary, just the completed application form and a few documents.
Further details and application forms are on MallowCU.ie
“Women Hold up Half the Sky”
To mark International Women’s Day we’d like to invite active retired ladies to a Coffee Morning in Millstreet Parish Centre on Friday 9th March between 10.00am and 11.15am.
It’ll be a chance for us to have a chat about changes in society through the years and how they have affected women. We’d love to see you there!
