The school continues its successful tradition with Young Scientist projects with four projects qualifying this year.
- “An improvement to the ranking system for Ireland’s Second Level Schools” will be presented by Mark Casey and Éimear Corcoran;
- “Are Teenagers Carrying Risk Factors Now That We Would Only See in Older People Before?” will be researched by Jordan Kiely, Abby Ring and Emma McSweeney;
- “Charcoal or Eye Liner Markers – Which is Better to Help the Daily Lives of Firefighters?” will be presented by Katie Healy and Shannon O’Sullivan;
- “The Effects of Heavy Schoolbags on Pupils” will be investigated by David O’Donovan, Dylan Sheehan and Brian O’Sullivan.
