  1. Millstreet Museum Society wishes to extend sincere sympathy to the Buckley Family on the sad departure of Catherine to her Eternal Reward, R.I.P.. It was the late Catherine with her husband, the late Seán from The Hall, Kilcorney who so very kindly presented a true treasure to the Museum a number of years ago in the form of the many cups, trophies, plaques and cups associated with the hugely historic Kilcorney Feis. This Museum Display on Kilcorney Feis established in 1910 has been enormously admired by visitors from home and abroad. The Buckley Family has been wonderfully supportive of our Museum work from the very start of Millstreet Museum Society in 1978. It was only quite recently (a few short months ago) that we met with Catherine in the Museum when we recalled the magic of Kilcorney Feis in the high field and the superb shop near the entrance...and the splendid traditional music and dance echoing in the air - all in such an exquisite setting. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
