Magnificent Banner Presented to Millstreet A.R.A.

On Friday night (29th Sept. 2017) at Millstreet Parish Centre following the annual Mass of Millstreet Active Retirement Association in St. Patrick’s Church – the Creedon Family of Laught, Rathcoole presented a truly magnificent Banner to the Association in honour of their late mother – Nora Creedon – who was such a highly esteemed and wonderfully loyal member of Millstreet A.R.A. for many years.  Here we share a selection of images from the very special historic occasion.  During the provision of refreshments in the Parish Centre the impressive gathering was entertained with a marvellous story superbly delivered by All-Ireland award winning Diarmuid Cronin (grandson of Nora) introduced by A.R.A. Coordinator, Annabelle O’Sullivan.   Click on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)

  1. I am related to some of these people ! Thanks for sharing all the great pictures and story. Nora was the best. I am so glad I was able to meet her and get to know her.
