The month of August is moving on fast and back to school days looming. Parents are busy getting everything ready for the children’s return to their school routine . The weather is great and I hope there will be time for  lots of leisure time activities before then.

There is a bumper crop of Blackberries this year . They’re there for the picking and the memory of picking Blackberries when you’re young stays with you forever. (But why are the best ones always at the top.)

The thought for the week on our Mass leaflet this week says:

“Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrows troubles,
it takes away today’s peace.”

Agus sinn a bfuil a cairde, agus Slan is beannacht De libh go leir.
