In Pictures: The Parade of Nations through Millstreet

After Wednesday morning’s rain, Noel C. got onto the man above and asked for sunshine for the evening, and as is normal he duly obliged. Just in time, the clouds parted and suddenly we had a lovely sunny evening for what has now become a tradition – the Parade of Nations through Millstreet, bringing a slice of colour and fun to town.

Led by the Millstreet Pipe Band the sixteen nations dressed in their finery and national colours, paraded up through the town, and back down to the Green Glens where the official opening of the Championships took place, followed by a concert and entertainment.

A big bualadh bos to all that helped organise, and participated in what was another lovely event.
