The death has occurred on Saturday March 4th 2017 in Adelaide, Australia, of Sheila Phelan (née Judy Scally of Murphy’s Terrace). Daughter of Patrick and Mary (née Bohan) [1]
- Marriage of parents Patrick Scally a soldier of Portobello Barracks, and Mary Bohan a spinster of Leeson St., Dublin, 18th December 1924 [ref].
So very sad. Auntie Judy was the last surviving family member of the six daughters and four sons of Mary Scally, formerly from Murphy’s Terrace.
Judy was my first cousin when I was very young Judy would look after us Judy was 5/6 years older very sad to here of her passing after a very long illness
So many families left Millstreet to seek work all around the globe of course they had little choice they made a new life for their family Judy RIP
