It’s new to the Green Glens and it is exciting. That is why it is so important that we all play our part in making it a memorable event for all the right reasons. All those taking part will be installed at the Green Glens on Monday night July11th..Then  on Tuesday evening a Grand Parade will be held through the town. It will be very spectacular with Flags and music and colour and well over 100 horses & ponies each parading under their own flag .

The town and approach roads will be decorated in a fashion in keeping with this great world event. Householders and business people are asked to hang out flags and bunting and also that people will come out in large numbers to give a real Millstreet Welcome to all the visiting nations.
