The best of luck to Sharon O’Keeffe who is taking part in the Cork Big Heart Fight Night- a fundraising white collar boxing challenge for the Irish Heart Foundation.
The boxers are made up of big-hearted women and men who have volunteered to take part in the high adrenalin sport of boxing in a safe, comfortable environment. For the past 8-weeks they have been learning the basics of boxing while getting super fit and are now ready to step into the ring for the ultimate challenge (Sharon is pictured on the right above, training for the fight, under the watchful eye of Dan Lane of Rylane Boxing Club)
It’s taking place on Saturday, 5 March 2016 at 7pm in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, and you can get your tickets for the night here, before they’re all sold out.
