COLLINS (Rathcoole): On January 27, 2016, peacefully, in his 90th year, at his home, in Knockcahill, TED (Collins Transport), beloved husband of Kitty (nee O’Flynn) and dear father of Dáithi, Marie (Buckley), Carmel (Cronin), Maighreád (O’Leary), Patsy (Gallon), Mike, Tadgh, Anne (Morley) and the late infants Colette and Deirdre and brother of Vincent and Kathleen (Crowley). Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Patrick, Denis, Connie, Tim and Derry, daughters-in-law Joan, Kathleen and Esther, sister-in-law Nora, brother-in-law Tadgh, nieces, nephews and a very large circle of friends.
Reposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Banteer. Rosary on this Thursday evening at 8pm. Reposing on tomorrow, Friday evening, from 6pm, followed by removal at 8pm to St John’s Church, Dromagh. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. May he rest in peace.
Ted (right) was singing in Aubane in 2000, with Seán ‘the Hall’ O’Buachalla of Kilcorney (RIP 2008).
