Millstreet Community School’s senior boys soccer team got off to a winning start in the first of their group matches in the John Murphy Cup. They played SMI Newcastlewest away on 13th October and came away with a 4-3 win. It was a fantastic team performance against a very good side. The goal scorers were Colm O’Leary (2), Billy Cronin and Danny Buckley. The next fixture is at home against St. Patrick’s Castleisland on Friday 23rd October. We thank John Magee for the notice.
