A mighty bonfire on the side of the road at Rathduane marked the truly historic occasion and a Piper from Cullen Pipe Band led the large gathering to a marvellous celebratory Party at the closeby home of Tim and Breeda Murphy and Family. — A mighty bonfire on the side of the road on Tuesday, 30th June 2015 at 10.30 pm in Rathduane marked the truly historic occasion and a Piper from Cullen Pipe Band led the large gathering to a marvellous celebratory Party at the closeby very welcoming home of Tim and Breeda Murphy and Family pictured below with Helen also from Killarney Road (on extreme right).

A great atmosphere was created for the Party with splendid public address and superb music while the amount of delicious food and drinks plus an amazing celebratory cake – all were awe-inspiring!

We three attended Coláiste Pádraig, Millstreet from 1963 and were in the same class. From left - Joe O'Riordan (Rathcoole and Rathduane), Séamus (Jimmy) Breen of Gneeveguilla and Ennis whom I had not met since1966 and is in fact Jason's uncle - brother of Jason's mother! — We three attended Coláiste Pádraig, Millstreet from 1963 and were in the same class.
