Start, Grow & Promote Your Business
Temperance Hall, Kanturk
Tuesday 23rd June, 8pm
A business event to support enterprise in North Cork, which is being organised by Áine Collins, Cork North West TD, will be held on Tuesday 23rd June at 8pm in Temperance Hall, Kanturk.
‘Start, Grow & Promote Your Business’, which will be free of charge to all businesses, is being organised in association with LEO North Cork and IRD Duhallow and will be an opportunity for businesses and people with a business idea that they wish to develop to come together to learn more about the supports that are available in the area. It will also be an opportunity to network with a wide range of businesses in North Cork.
The event will be chaired by C103 Presenter Patricia Messenger and will feature Kevin Curran, Assistant Head of Enterprise from the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) North Cork and Louise Bourke, Enterprise and Tourism Officer at IRD Duhallow.
Event Organiser Áine Collins TD stated “Having had my own businesses in North Cork, I know first hand how important it is to avail of all the help you can get whether your idea is just at the development stage or you are looking to expand. Small businesses are the lifeblood of our community and it’s important that they receive as much support as possible. With this event I hope we see as many businesses coming along on the night to hear about the wide range of supports that are available to businesses at every stage of their development and that business owners come away with valuable pieces of information that will have a positive effect on their businesses.”
Deputy Collins added: “There will also be networking opportunities at the event, where businesses can promote their products and services to one other. As the economy grows, businesses need to seize every promotional opportunity and now more than ever it’s important that we support our own and try and use local businesses. I hope that from the event businesses will make new and valuable contacts that will help them to either start, grow or promote their businesses.”
The event is free of charge and open to all. For further information visit www.ainecollins.ie.
