Mícheál O Muirthile’s painting of Nel the Brown Rescue Horse with Andy and Sue in Kilmeedy Lodge is competing to become the flagship publicity poster for the Equus Film Festival in New York later in the year.
Outside that, the top 12 artist will be featured in the Equus Film Festival Official 2016 Calendar
To help it, they are asking us all to simply ‘like’ the photo on facebook.
The competition is by invite only and all pieces must be have an Equine theme. Micheál’s piece “Nel – The Brown Mare”, which he painted especially for this, was
accepted and he is now one of roughly 50 entrants worldwide. Nel is a Rescue Horse with Andy and Sue in Kilmeedy Lodge. The competition is ran by the Equus Film Festival in New York and the winners piece will become the flagship publicity poster for the Film Festival later in the year.
