The AGM of the lotto committee will be held at the Wallis Arms Hotel at the end of February.

Yesterday Monday February 2nd was the Candlemas day and at the morning Mass Canon John, Blessed the candles that will be used on the alter for the coming year, and people were invited to bring candles for home use and they were included in the blessing.

Today is the Feast Of Saint Blaise and the annual Blessing of throats took place after 10am Mass. For the Feast of St Bridget the customery Breedeen Crosses are widely available. Our Community school Students, held a very successful Table quiz at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday night. It was to raise funds for Some of them who will be going to Lourdes at Easter as Helpers. Further to that a Diocesan Church Gate Collection will be held this weekend February 8th for the same cause. The AGM of Ballydaly Hall will be held tonight February 3rd. Starting at 8.30. The Weekly WeighIn  with Music, Zumba and dancing, continues in Cullen every Monday Night. Last night 60 people weighed in and 100 pounds weight was lost. It is still not too late for newcomers to join. Eucharistic Adoration in Cullen every Thursday from 10am to 7. Cloghoula National School are holding their enrolment for 2015 . Forms can be collected at the school all this week from Monday Feb, 9 to Friday 13th. Our Community Council Awards Social will be held at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday March 6th. and they are inviting people to nominate anyone whom they concider to be worthy of a Community Council Award. Names can be handed in to Maura Kiely Liscahane, or to any Council Member by February 8th.
