Lá Fhéile Bríde – St. Brigid’s Day on Sunday 1st February 2015
To celebrate St. Brigid’s Day 2015 Breeda Kelleher (pictured here on left today at Millstreet Library with Breda and with Denis J.Kelleher) arranged to make some 100 miniature St. Brigid Crosses for distribution at Mass. Breeda has been doing this wonderfully kind gesture for many years as did the late Teresa Tangney with a group of voluntary Helpers. Millstreet Church has not just a very impressive large statue of the Saint but also an exquisite stained glass window. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)
