  1. Kay cared for my father for the last 13 years of his life on Cape Cod. Kay was a special woman, not only because she made my father, Norman’s life beautiful, comfortable, and fun, but because her spirit, humor, and generosity shone through Kay and also for all of us who loved her dearly and completely. She will be so greatly missed.

  2. Thank you so much for your kind words Rita. Kay spoke so often about Norman, we all felt like we knew him too. She also spoke so highly of all your family. We will all miss Kay terribly, we will miss her gentle nature and her kind, fun-loving spirit. We are so grateful to have got the opportunity to spend time with her over the past few months. Best regards from the O Donoghue family in Millstreet to all her adopted family in the Cape.

  3. Thank you, siobhan. Kay was family with us.
I have been thinking of how we can honor Kay and her generous spirit. To honor Kay’s memory, Marc, Terri, Bill and I are sponsoring a child in the Philippines, where I do mission work each year. In kay’s name, we will sponsor a child’s education from elementary school through high school. Kay was so generous in donating to the children I work with each year on mission. I will ask Sister Minerva from The Poor Household of God to choose a child for Kay. When I visit the small village of Borongan in February, I will meet with this child and send your family a picture and letter from him or her. We keep Kay’s spirit bright for us all.
My best to you and your family Donoghue
    Rita
