Last Friday was Daffodil Day and collections were made in aid of Irish Cancer Society, with outstanding results.
Collectors in the town brought in €3,370, and the Coffee morning at the GAA Hall yielded €845.
The organisers would like to say a sincere word of thanks to all those who support their efforts in any way. And our full admiration goes to the organisers themselves.
And Mother’s Day went on for the whole weekend 🙂
To-day is the First of April and April is full of things to do, the long evenings giving more daylight hours.
On Sunday next April 6th the Millstreet Feile Cheoil will be held at the Community School. Starting at 12 noon with the Confined Competitions .
There are two Pony Shows at the Green Glens in April, from April 10 to13th and April 17 to 20.

Our Walking Club are hosting a two day Walking Festival April 12 & 13th.
Registration at the Wallis Arms Hotel.
And on Easter Monday April 21st the Community Council and holding a Fun Family walk over a five mile circle road in Kilmeedy. Registration at 11am at Kilmeedy Castle . Refreshments will be given at journeys End. It’s all in aid of the Astro Turf Fund. For further information contact any Community Council Member.
The AGM of the turf Co-Op will be held at the Canon O Donovan Centre
tomorrow Wednesday night starting at 9.
Orders for the coming season, will be taken on the night.
The annual Good Friday Table Quiz will be held at Aubane on April 18th .
All social events in Aubane were cancelled this week as a mark of respect
at the untimely passing of Conor Buckley, son of Seamus and Maureen. On
behalf of our community I want to offer them our heartfelt sympathy. May he rest in peace.
Also the Kelleher/Todd Family on the death of 52 year old Tony.

season from Wednesday to Sunday from 11.00pm to 7.00pm. Membership this year for €20.00 and the little ones are free. Bring your own bike and enjoy the new mountain bike trails and leisure bike trails also this year new orienteering trails. In association with Nibbles we can cater for all family functions.

Our Summer Festival will run from July29th to August 3rd in conjunction with the International Juggling event, and will feature the best of all last

At Easter, a monument will be erected in the Mushera/Kilcorney area to King Mahon,Brother of Brian Boru who was murdered there, a thousand years ago.

Championship semi- final in Millstreet on Friday night last.
On this Friday evening, Millstreet come up against Dromtariffe in the Ducon Cup in Millstreet at 7pm.
