St. Bridget’s Cross Tradition

Breeda Kelleher of Station Road, Millstreet maintained the wonderful tradition of the St. Bridget's Cross on this Feast of St. Bridget on 1st February 2014. As well as providing a number of miniature crosses distributed at Mass, Breeda made three impressive large crosses for the main altar of the Church, for St. Bridget's Statue within the Church and one also for Millstreet Museum. Many thanks, Breeda for also varnishing the Crosses - thus preserving them for a much longer time. (S.R.)
